Sir Blogsworth Inquires
About what items you'd like to see come back into style. A few of mine would be the monocle, suspenders, bustles, gloves, tartan, bowties, knee highs, tricorn hats, spats, cloth covered buttons, the ascot and affordable silk.
gloves for sure! Also, floor length lace dresses (lots of knee length lace out there, not much floor length), plaid worked into more formal silhouettes, pastel plaids, petticoats

Rebecca! Yes! Especially floor length lace dresses and pastel plaids <3 Dama, thanks :)
ReplyDeleteGloves and scarves a la Rogue from the first x-men movie. definitely bustles and hats. actual grunge/early nineties stuff instead of this pretend grunge fad that seems to be going around.
ReplyDeletefor menzwear, i'd like to see a lot of those tight-fitting v-necked, short-sleeved sweaters. they look a bit 1940s-ish, but i'm not sure that makes sense. my partner was wearing a really tight one when we first met, and now we're married with an almost 3 year old. :P
ReplyDeleteand, just in general, more hats in more varieties! i'm sad we don't wear hats with things on them anymore.
Aura, YES PLEASE! I know exactly what you're talking about. They are now known for sealing the deal.. with a munchkin on top ;)
